How do I know if my heating element needs replacing?

If your grill is not heating up, or your conventional oven is not getting hot from the top, then it's likely this element is open circuit and has failed. Another fault could be that your grill or conventional oven is tripping the electricity when switched on, again the likely cause is a faulty heating element leaking to earth. Replacing this element should cure either of these issues.

How do I know what wattage element I need?

The wattage of this heating element is 2700w. The wattage of your existing element will be stamped on the element, usually on the fixing plate or the element itself near the fixing plate. Can I replace this element myself?
