• Is this element compatible with my appliance?

This element fits a number of Firenzi ovens / cookers. Please see the dropdown box list of specific model numbers. If your model number is listed, this element is likely compatible for your oven. However please always compare the part before ordering, as sometimes more information might be required and model number information is for guidance only.

• How do I know if my heating element needs replacing?

If your grill is not heating up, or your conventional oven is not getting hot from the top, then it's likely this element is open circuit and has failed. Another fault could be that your grill or conventional oven is tripping the electricity when switched on, again the likely cause is a faulty heating element leaking to earth.  Replacing this element should cure either of these issues.

• How do I know what wattage element I need?

The wattage of this heating element is 1000w. The wattage of your existing element will be stamped on the element, usually on the fixing plate or the element itself near the fixing plate. Please note the wattage of the element will be less than the overall wattage of the oven, listed on the data/rating plate.

• Can I replace this element myself?

Yes. In most cases the only tool you will need is a screwdriver. You also need to be able to isolate the oven from the power, either directly from the cooker switch/socket, or from your consumer unit. However, if you are not confident in doing this, please consult a professional.
